These are different sites. image-layered.app is this product: split a flat image, then edit text, remove text, recolor, or replace a layer, and open the PSD in PhotoCraft. imagelayered.com is a different project that LayerGrab’s comparison has linked under the name “ImageLayered”. If a roundup sends you to imagelayered.com, you are not on this site.

LayerGrab
LayerGrab splits an image into transparent layers, fills the background, and names layers in English. The public pricing page bills by the number of layers you get back, and it says results are removed after 30 days and that subscription credits do not roll over. Their homepage “when not to use it” section says text layers are pixels and are not editable text. That is the gap this product is built around: after the split you can type with Edit text, hide a line with Remove text, recolor for 3 credits, or replace a layer for 4 credits.

imagetolayers, layerpsd, and Canva Magic Layers
imagetolayers shows up when people search for an image-to-PSD tool. This review did not document its editor, its price, or how long it keeps files. Treat any feature list you did not open yourself as unknown. layerpsd.com advertises a PSD with editable text layers (https://layerpsd.com/). That is a real difference from a raster-only text layer. We did not verify the price or whether those text layers survive a round trip into Photoshop as live type.
Canva Magic Layers is Canva’s feature, not ours. People search for an alternative when they have a flat export and do not want to rebuild it inside Canva. We did not document Magic Layers’ controls, price, or file types. The practical alternative is on Canva Magic Layers alternative: export a PNG or JPG, then split that file here. We do not open a .canva file and we are not a Canva plugin.
How to choose without a fake score
Choose a per-layer tool when you want a short stack and you are comfortable paying for every layer, including the background. Choose a flat per-split tool when the picture is dense and you want the cost before you see the count. Choose a tool that advertises live text layers when the original font must remain a text frame. Choose image-layered.app when you need the split and then Edit text, Remove text, Recolor, Replace, PhotoCraft, or a saved project.
Start from the job, not from this list. Image to layers is the separator. JPG to PSD with layers is the Photoshop file. Separate an object into its own layer is the cut-out that keeps a background plate. None of these pages are the manual Photoshop method. That is how to separate an image into layers in Photoshop.
