Product element extraction
Select the bottle, its label, or the shadow. Download a layer as PNG.

Sample layers you can click, hide, and drag. Your own image is split in the editor.
Extract object
Separate an object into its own layer by splitting the image so the subject is a transparent PNG you can download, while the rebuilt background stays on another layer.
Split a photo so the subject, its shadow, and the background are separate. Click the object and download that layer as a transparent PNG.

Separate the subject, text, and background, then move or resize any layer.
1
Product photos, characters, and any frame with a clear subject work better than a crowd of overlapping items.
2
There is no second cut-out pass. Each detected object is already a layer with its own position.
3
Solo it, hide the background, or download that PNG. The action panel lists extract, hide, move, recolor, and replace.
4
Leave the background plate if you still need the scene. Hide it if you only want the object.
5
Download the object PNG, or save the whole stack as a PSD. A 2K split is 5 credits either way.
The object is already a transparent layer after the split.
The rebuilt plate remains, so the scene is not a hole.
Drag the object without taking the background with it.
“Extract object from image”, “separate object into its own layer”, and “put this object on its own layer” describe one action. You point at a thing in a flat picture and you want that thing alone, with transparency, still the same pixels rather than a new drawing of it.
Image Layered does this by separating the whole frame. The object you wanted is one layer. Nearby objects may be their own layers too. Download only the one you need, or hide the others. There is no text prompt that isolates “the red sneakers” by name; you select the layer the split produced.
A background remover throws the scene away and returns a subject. This split keeps a background plate and fills the area the object covered. That matters when you want to move the object and still show the room, or when you want to remove the object and keep the scene.
To remove an object and keep the background, hide or delete that object layer and leave the filled plate. The fill is a reconstruction, so patterned walls, text behind the object, and thin structures can look soft. If the object and the thing behind it were never separable, they will still share a layer. This section covers that “remove object, keep background” need; it is not a separate tool.
Once the object is alone, recolor it for 3 credits without changing the silhouette, or replace it for 4 credits when the object itself should become something else. Text on a label is a different layer when the split succeeded; change it with Edit text or remove it with Remove text.
Save the project, download the PNG, or open the PSD in PhotoCraft. The flat 5-credit split does not bill you per object. A full-resolution 2K split costs 5 credits and includes the PSD and the PNG ZIP. The price does not grow with the number of layers. Arranging a project and downloading a finished export do not add another charge. A failed or timed-out split is refunded. Guests can run one 1K preview a day and cannot export that preview.
Upload a packshot and split it. Click the product layer and download the PNG if the next layout only needs the item. Open the background layer in the same stack if the next layout needs the table without the item. That second choice is the “remove the object, keep the background” version of this page. It is not a different uploader. Hide the product and judge the fill. A plain backdrop will look fine. A label that ran behind the product will not.
If the product should stay and only its color should change, do not download yet. Recolor the product layer for 3 credits and compare the logo. If the logo shifted, the logo was not its own layer and you should undo by returning to the saved project rather than painting over the mistake. Replace, at 4 credits, is for a different object in the same place, not for a careful recolor.
Text on the product is its own decision. Edit text when the claim is wrong and the letters separated. Remove text when the badge should disappear. Neither step is a vector label. PhotoCraft is where you mask an edge the split left attached to a shadow.
There is still no field where you type “the red sneakers” and receive only that pair. You select the layer the separator produced. If the shoes and the floor share a layer, the extraction is not finished, and no extra prompt will cut them apart inside this app.
When you send the PNG, say whether the shadow came with it and whether any label text stayed on the product layer. Those two facts decide if the next designer can drop the file on a new background. If the edge is soft in a way the source was not, do not sharpen it inside the splitter. There is no brush. Either accept the edge or mask it in PhotoCraft. Separating an object into its own layer is a success when the silhouette matches the source, not when the PNG is merely transparent somewhere.
If the request was “delete the object and keep the room”, deliver the background plate instead of the PNG and point at the filled region. Call it approximate. A client who needed the original pixels behind the object needs the raw photo, which this tool cannot see.

Small details in a busy photo can stay stuck to a neighboring layer. There is no manual brush.
Yes. The object and the rebuilt background are different layers. Download the object, or hide the background.
Hide that object layer. The plate behind it was filled during the split. Check the fill before you deliver it.
Yes. Each separated layer downloads on its own. The split itself is still one 5-credit operation at 2K.
The split does not recolor. Recolor is a later edit on the selected layer and costs 3 credits. Replace costs 4.
Yes, when the split separates them. You download each layer. You do not pay 5 credits per object.
Yes — you can split one image per day at 1K without an account to preview the layers. Full-resolution 2K layers and PSD/PNG ZIP export use 5 credits per split.
A layered Photoshop PSD where every element is its own named, transparent layer at its original position, or a ZIP of transparent PNGs plus a composite.
Posters, product shots, social graphics, characters and AI-generated images with clear subjects. Very busy photos can merge small details into one layer.
Credits are refunded automatically when a split fails or times out.
Uploads are used only to create your layers and are not shown publicly or used for training.
Yes, you can use exported layers from your own images in commercial work.
