Image Layered: Turn a Flat Image into Editable Layers
A finished JPG or PNG often contains the exact composition you want, except for one object, label, background, or text block. Image Layered helps you recover that structure instead of rebuilding the whole image.
The workflow
Upload an image to Image Layered Studio. The decomposition step creates independent transparent raster layers for subjects, products, text, shadows, effects, and background. Inspect the stack, lock the content that must stay, and select the element you want to revise.
The result is useful for:
- product and campaign variations;
- AI-generated artwork that needs a controlled revision;
- character and illustration part separation;
- parallax and motion preparation.
What you can export
Export a multi-layer raster PSD with layer names, coordinates, transparency, visibility, order, groups, masks, and supported blend modes. You can also export a ZIP of transparent PNG layers. Native fonts, vectors, smart objects, and complete edit history are not reconstructed, so text from a flattened image remains an image layer.
Where the limits are
Clean, distinct subjects and flat backgrounds usually separate best. Fine hair against a busy background, reflections, compressed text, and objects fused into texture may need cleanup. Compare the original and the layered composition before delivery.
Open Studio or read the Image Layered usage guide for the complete workflow.
